 Lease List
Welcome to the land lease system for the Division for Forestry, Fire and State Lands. This system tracks the status of the various permits, rights-of-way and leases on sovereign and state lands managed by DFFSL. You can scroll through the system by lease number by choosing Lease List.
Or, if you have some information about the lease(s) you are looking for, you can search for leases, permits or rights-of-way by choosing among these options:

By lease number, by the county the lease is located in or by lease type (Search Lease option). A partial lease number will work if you choose the Lease ID option. A drop down option is provided if you search by County or Lease Type.

Lessee ID
By lessee name (Search Lease by Lessee). You can search by a part of a name under the First Name, Last Name, or Company options. (For example, "Will" brings up "William" if searching by First Name, "Williams" if searching by Last Name and "Camp W.G. Williams" if searching by Company.) You can use the Lessee ID option if you know the lessee number.

 By legal description (Search by Legal Description option). To search by legal description, the most accurate information is obtained by completing all fields. Enter a township or range number in Town: and Range:. Enter the letter S or N for Town Ord:. Enter the letter E or W for Range Ord:. Enter as section number in Section:. In Base Meridian, enter S for Salt Lake Base Line and Meridian or U for Uintah Base Line and Meridian. However, the system will pull up all information which matches information in any one or combination of these fields. For example, you can search for all leases in Range 6 East by entering 6 in Range: and E in Range Ord:.

The system will pull up all documents which satisfy the search criteria you have selected. Select the Continue option for the document on which you want more information, then the View option which will bring up all information on the lease system. If you have questions on any of the information, you may call DFFSL at 538-5555.
